Karl Liebscher is a professional craftsman with over 30 years hedge laying experience.

Services provided

• Hedge laying in either “Midland” (see photo below) or Welsh Border style
• Will undertake work for anyone that owns a hedge, whether it is 15m in a private garden, 200m on a farm, or 1000m for a local authority.
• Hedgerow restoration. Where a hedge is “too far gone” for laying, I will advise on a programme of restoration, and can undertake the necessary work
• Freelance tutor. For over 20 years I have worked as a tutor in hedge laying for established training organisations . I regularly tutor on courses run by the Green Wood Centre, and Walford & North Shropshire College

• I am accredited with Craftsman status by the National Hedge Laying Society
• I have over 30 years hedge laying experience, 25 of those as a professional in Shropshire.
• The only assistant I have, Roger Brown, also has over 30 years hedge laying experience.

Area of operation

• Shropshire - based near Much Wenlock, I cover most of the county.
• Worcestershire - in the north-west around Kidderminster, Bewdley and Wyre Forest.
• Staffordshire - within South Staffordshire District.
• West Midlands – the west side – Stourbridge, Dudley, Halesowen.
